Marrakech Muddle

This past week has been quite full of (mis) adventures. Having crossed the Haut Atlas, we are now in the amazing city of Marrakech just relaxing and unmuddling ourselves. All of the words in this word search come from this week. We hope you will enjoy this puzzle as much as trying to imagine how all of these things fit together. We are still working out the mysteries that life has held for us of late, but all is well that ends well.

Hey ladies!

I got your postcard... yes, I suppose you're right: requesting that you describe the smells may not paint such a pretty image afterall! It is nice to read that you are connecting with the landscapes you pass through. Have you each connected differently with the areas you travel through? Have you had areas that you would have liked to spend more time in but had to push through to keep on schedule (do you have a schedule?)?

We are anxious for your return. Although late nights at the Aurora probably aren't in our future (under new management the restaurant isn't nearly as good as when you were last here), I'm sure we can fix you a couple of great martinis to celebrate. Maybe we'll crack out the last of the Cachasa for a Kaiperigna toast.

The weather here in Thunder Bay is perfect...cool at night; sunny, warm, and breezy by day; almost no mosquitoes; and the garden is pumping out corn on the cob like never before. We even had a meal the other night that was 95% from our property: coleslaw, corn, and lamb, with raspberry sorbet for dessert (we cheated by adding a store-bought carrot to the 'slaw).

Oooh I almost forgot: I've officially been granted my M.Sc! Looks like I'll be starting a Ph.D. in september - studying yaks! Want to plan your next bike trip through India, Kyrgyzstan and Tibet?

Looking forward to your next entry!

~Julie
